1. Scope

This policy covers visitors to our website and people who contact us about products, partnerships, creator programmes, investment or other business matters. A customer workspace or a brand’s creator programme may involve additional information and responsibilities. The privacy notice and contractual terms supplied for that service apply to those activities alongside this policy where relevant.

2. Information we collect

• Information you provide: your name, email address, selected role and message when you use our contact form; and information you choose to include in email correspondence.
• Business correspondence: details of your enquiry, our replies and information needed to discuss or manage the resulting business relationship.
• Technical information: IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps and error or security records processed by our hosting and delivery services. The contact endpoint also uses an IP-based temporary counter to limit repeated submissions.
• Public team information: names, roles and portraits displayed on our About page. Portraits on that page have been restyled with AI.

Please only share information needed for your enquiry. Do not send passwords, identity documents, payment-card details or sensitive personal information through the contact form.

3. How and why we use information

We use enquiry and correspondence information to respond to you, discuss services, manage business relationships and take steps you request before entering an agreement. We use technical information to deliver the website, troubleshoot problems, prevent abuse and protect our systems. We may also process relevant information to meet legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on our legitimate interests in communicating with business contacts and operating a secure website, steps taken at your request before a contract or performance of a contract, and applicable legal obligations. If a particular activity requires consent, we request it separately. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing mailing list.

4. Service providers and other recipients

Information is available to personnel who need it for the purposes described above and to service providers supporting those purposes. The website uses:

• Vercel: website hosting and delivery, including the server function that handles contact submissions.
• Brevo: delivery of contact-form emails to our business inbox. These emails include the name, email address, role and message you submit.
• Google Fonts: delivery of website fonts. Your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive connection information such as your IP address.
• Business email services: storage and handling of correspondence received by our team.

We may disclose information when required by law, to protect legal rights, or to professional advisers where necessary and subject to appropriate confidentiality. If our business is involved in a sale or reorganisation, relevant information may be shared where lawful, with appropriate protections. We do not sell personal information collected through this website.

5. Cookies and browser storage

We have not added advertising pixels or analytics trackers to this public website. Theme selections, role tabs and menu state are held in the current page and are not saved as a visitor profile. Infrastructure providers may process technical request information to deliver and protect the site. External websites linked from Kinfluence operate under their own privacy and cookie policies.

6. How long information is kept

We retain enquiries and correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, manage the relevant business relationship and meet legal or recordkeeping requirements. The appropriate period depends on the nature of the enquiry, whether it becomes a customer relationship, applicable legal requirements and any dispute. Information no longer needed for those purposes should be deleted or anonymised.

The contact-form rate limiter uses a ten-minute window. Hosting logs, email delivery records and mailbox copies have separate retention arrangements; the rate-limit window is not a retention period for your enquiry. You can ask us about retention of your information using the contact details below.

7. International processing and security

Our service providers may process information in locations other than where you live. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, the transfer must be supported by an appropriate legal mechanism, such as recognised contractual safeguards or an adequacy decision.

Our website uses HTTPS, and contact-form email delivery uses encrypted SMTP transport. We limit the information requested and use input validation and abuse controls. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access or obtain a copy of your information; correct it; request deletion; restrict or object to processing; receive certain information in a portable format; and withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out lawfully. These rights can be subject to exceptions.

Email info@kinfluence.io with “Privacy request” in the subject line. Tell us what you are requesting and the email address associated with your enquiry. We may request proportionate information to confirm your identity before responding. We will handle requests within the period required by applicable law. You may also complain to the data protection authority responsible for your jurisdiction.

9. Children’s information

This website is directed at business audiences and is not intended to collect information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so we can review and address it. Eligibility for any creator programme is set out separately in that programme’s terms.

10. Updates and contact

We may update this policy when our practices or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. We will provide additional notice of material changes where required.
